Here is a look at some of the highlights of YSL‘s spring 2013 Arty Stone makeup collection. The two limited-edition star items of the collection are the Y Facet Couleur Palette (Pure Chromatics in 14) and the Y Facet Lumière Palette (both below).
I particularly like the mint-green Volupté Sheer Candy in 11 Frosted Mint. The two items in violet (Rouge Pur Couture Vernis in 30 Mauve Fusain and Long Lasting Eye Pencil N in 16 Ultra Violet) also caught my attention.

Here is a quick look at Dior‘s spring 2013 Chérie Bow makeup collection, which has been released in the UK. The collection features a wide range of fresh and feminine pink hues, from rose and fuchsia pinks to coral and peach pinks. The limited-edition star item of the collection is the Chérie Bow Palette, which is available in two variations (001 Pink Poudre (below) and 002 Pink Perle (above)). I prefer the look of 002 Pink Perle.

Givenchy‘s spring 2013 Hôtel Privé makeup collection, available in the UK from today, features mostly soft and demure hues for eyes, lips, and nails. Today I am highlighting the (only) lipstick in this collection, Rouge Interdit in 59 Private Peach.

It was the sale time again, and I had to stop by the Paul & Joe counters in London to see what was on offer. (See my Paul & Joe sale purchases in 2010 and 2011.)
Paul & Joe’s sale items are usually past limited-edition items, discontinued (replaced) products, soon-to-be-discontinued products, and overstock. For this winter sale, many Lipstick N shades and Face Color variations were on sale, since the new lipstick lineup was released in fall 2012 and the new range of blushers (Cheek Color) will be launched soon as part of the brand’s spring 2013 makeup collection.

Benefique is one of the beauty lines from Shiseido. It is mainly available in pharmacies across Japan, and it currently features skincare, base makeup, point (color) makeup, haircare, and beauty supplement items. Benefique’s point makeup range is called Theoty (note: not Theory), which has been around for quite some time. For spring 2013, Theoty’s packaging will be revamped and the new girlie look has caught my attention. (It reminds me of the very pretty Miss Elégance from a few years ago!)
