If you haven’t come across it, here is a look at YSL‘s summer 2013 Saharienne Heat makeup collection. I particularly like the Marrakesh Sunset Palette (above) and the purple-toned Waterproof Eye Pencil in 10.

If you are a Lunasol fan, you might remember that spring 2007 was a big season for the brand. Its fall 2006 Scent Purification collection, featuring the beautiful Scent Form Eyes palettes, was very well-received, but it is the spring 2007 collection that elevated the brand to the very top of Japanese cosmetics.

Here is a quick look at Chanel‘s summer 2013 makeup collection. Chanel has been releasing elegant and wearable neutrals for the last few seasons, and it is refreshing to see some vibrant shades for this summer.

3rd: Jill Stuart

For me, the highlights of Jill Stuart’s spring 2013 Dreamy Layered Glow makeup collection are the new Layer Blush Compacts and Velvet Crystal Eyes in 01 Nudy Venus. Nudy Venus is an easy-to-wear medium-to-warm neutral palette that will suit most people. I think it will probably appear on the list of Biteki readers’ favorite eyeshadow palettes next year and that it will potentially be one of Jill Stuart’s most popular eyeshadow palettes to date.

6th: Esprique
(Blend Creation Eye & Cheek in D-1)
(image from www.cosme.net)
I like the idea behind the new Blend Creation Eye & Cheek palettes from Esprique’s spring 2013 makeup collection. The middle two shades in each variation are used for both the eyes and the cheeks, and the shades for the eyes and for the cheeks can be used separately or mixed together. All the variations look quite easy to wear, and D-1 looks the most appealing to me.
