After revealing the line’s revamped makeup line for spring 2011, Kanebo Coffret D’Or also revamped its official website as additional information on the spring 2011 makeup collection went up. You can also see the five new brand ambassadors for the line. Check out this page to see the items that each of them is wearing.

To be honest, as a group, I much prefer the five original brand ambassadors, who, for me, had a better mix of looks and styles while all looking elegant and sophisticated. (I don’t think the new brand ambassadors are styled as well as they could be for these images.)

Have a look at the TV commercial for Coffret D’Or’s launch collection for spring 2008 (one of my favorite TV commercials for the line), featuring the five original brand ambassadors:

Dior Holiday 2010 Makeup 5(image from www.iswii.net)

.

I got my Dior Minaudière palette (in 002 Pink Gold) from Dior’s holiday 2010 makeup collection. Unlike some of the past holiday limited-edition items from Dior with just lip colors, which I feel are too precious to use, I will be trying the eyeshadows in this palette and I will share my thoughts later on.

(By the way, I was looking forward to seeing the 5 Colour Iridescent Eyeshadow palette in Endless Shine and I thought there was a good chance that I might get it too. It did look good, but the beige gold was a little too golden for me and the golden peach didn’t look as dimensional as some of the similar shades I have.)

RMK Gloss Lips N Fall Winter 2010 1(image/info from www.cosme.net)

.

One of RMK‘s most popular items is Gloss Lips. As far as I know, it hasn’t been revamped for at least ten years, which is very unusual for a Japanese beauty line. (It was not replaced after RMK’s major revamp last year.)

Without counting the EX (limited-edition) shades, 39 shades have been available. (#39 is from the fall 2009 collection.) Currently 20 shades are available. (The number gaps indicate shades that were released and then phased out over the years.)

On December 3rd, a new version, Gloss Lips N, will be released in Japan. It will be available in 20 shades and in a variety of finishes. I am assuming that these 20 shades will replace the existing ones. If you have a shade which you can’t live without, it is time to stock up!

Also, on the same day, RMK will release 4 new shades of Ingenious Powder Eyes.

I just came across news on Lunasol’s spring 2011 makeup collection on this Taiwanese blog. (If you like ETODs, this blog is worth following. They are beautifully done and very well-photographed.)

The information and the photo in the blog post are from the Twitter page of the deputy editor of Maquia. (It appears that the link to the image in the twit is currently off.)

The theme of the collection will be Oceanic/Aquatic Purification.

I also found this post from a Japanese blog. The photos were taken at a Lunasol press event and you can see the variations of the new eyeshadow palette series, Ocean Scene Eyes. There will also be a new range of cream eyeshadows.

After the more understated (shimmer-wise) Layer Bloom Eyes from spring 2009 and Star Shower Eyes from fall 2009, it appears that, in spring 2011, Lunasol will be continuing with the shimmery look from Nature Color Eyes from spring 2010 and Aurorize Eyes from fall 2010. No purples this time, but there are a couple of palettes with good potential!

Additional details to follow later on!
