For spring/summer 2012, RMK has released Cream Soap (S) (to replace Creamy Soap (N)) and Foamed Soap (M) to add to the brand’s skincare lineup. (They were released on April 6th in Japan and at around the same time in the UK.) Today I am reviewing Foamed Soap (M).

Currently available at 6000 retail points in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and New Zealand, ZA is certainly one of the best-known Japanese drugstore beauty lines in Asia. However, since its launch in 1997, the Shiseido-owned line has not been available in Japan.
This is about to change in the coming fall. According to Nikkei, ZA will be launched in Japan in September 2012. It will be sold at 300 retail points in Japan in the first year. The launch lineup will feature skincare, base makeup, and point makeup items.

In my Japanese Brand Profile series, I have written about Kao Sofina‘s Beauté and (the now discontinued) Hada.ka skincare lines. Today, in my Stash Debut 2012 series, I will be talking about another skincare line from Sofina, Sofina Jenne, and I will be reviewing Sofina Jenne Trial Set (Moist Type), my first purchase from Sofina Jenne (mainly to try the popular Jelly Moisturizer, one of the best-selling products from Sofina).

– I was told by a Muji sales assistant that Muji UK is no longer carrying facial skincare items for the time being. This means I will not be able to continue purchasing my Muji cleansing oil (Mild Oil Cleansing) in the UK. (Muji’s EU on-line store still has a few other skincare items.) I am surprised and not surprised. Muji Japan recently expanded its skincare range (and re-packaged some existing products, including Mild Oil Cleansing (the print on the bottle is now in green, not red)) and I thought Muji UK might start carrying more skincare products. However, Muji is never known for skincare in the UK so it is not too surprising that it is now focusing on other product lines.

Designed to exfoliate and purify the skin, Elemis‘ Papaya Enzyme Peel mask is one of the brand’s more noted products. To celebrate the product’s 10th anniversary, Elemis has launched a limited-edition packaging today, and, in this review, I will be looking into the ingredients of this product.

Olay carries quite a few product lines, including Regenerist, Definity, Professional, and Essentials (a new line that combines the existing Classic Care and Complete Care sub-lines). My chosen moisturizers for day and night are from the Complete Care sub-line (Daily Sensitive UV Fluid SPF 15 (renamed Sensitive Day Fluid SPF 15 under the new Essentials line) and Night Enriched Cream, respectively). Today I am featuring a new item from the Total Effects line, Total Effects Sensitive Protection SPF 15.

First of all, apologies for the delay in posting about this stash update.
I have to admit that, ever since the last Paul & Joe winter sale, I had been waiting for the next one. (Paul & Joe does have items on sale during the summer sale, but the lineup is usually not as impressive, and I didn’t purchase any sale item last summer.) There were a lot of items on sale for the winter sale 2011, and, for the first time (that I can remember), holiday limited-edition items were sold at reduced prices at Paul & Joe counters right on the other side of Christmas.

I had a chance to see Dior‘s Diorsnow Icy Halos Collection in person. The shades are generally soft and airy. The darkest shade of the entire collection is the medium silvery gray in the 5 Couleurs Iridescent palette, which is far from overly intense. The finishes of the eyeshadow shades are (pleasantly) not too frosty.
