Les Merveilleuses de Ladurée’s fall 2014 Le Coffre à Bijoux des Merveilleuses makeup collection features jewel tones in the products and on the packaging. Rich ruby red adorns Face Color Duo and Pressed Cheek Color Limited Case II while the two Eye Color Trios showcase vibrant amethyst and emerald.

Japanese fashion magazines Marisol and Baila have posted images of Chanel‘s spring 2015 makeup collection. The seasonal limited-edition item, Jardin de Chanel, looks quite lovely. This is another blusher with floral embossments. (See those from Anna Sui, Canmake and Coffret d’Or Gran.)

For fall/winter 2014, Kanebo Coffret d’Or’s sub-line, Coffret d’Or Gran, will release Elegant Up Cheeks (3 variations, ¥2700) in Japan on November 16th.

YSL currently features four eyeshadow palette ranges: Ombres Duolumières (since 2007), Ombres 5 Lumières (since 2008), Pure Chromatics (since 2011) and the recently launched Couture Palette. Among the four, Pure Chromatics has the most shimmery finish, and today I am reviewing Pure Chromatics in 6.

Dior’s 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palettes have been renewed for the brand’s fall 2014 makeup collection. Even though I don’t fancy getting any from the launch lineup at the moment, it does feature a good range of colors and finishes. I am sure we will see more variations soon.

Japanese fashion magazine Éclat has posted images of the two star items from YSL‘s spring 2015 makeup collection.
The two limited-edition items, to be released in Japan on January 9th, 2015, are Lumière de Jour (face highlighter) and Ombres de Jour.

Among YSL‘s Wildly Gold holiday 2014 makeup collection, the limited-edition star item, Palette Wildly Gold, has caught my attention. Even though multi-purposed eye-lip-cheek/face makeup palettes from the brand are commonly available at airport duty-free shops, it was seven years ago when the last one for the holiday season was released.
