As I have mentioned, RMK Cleansing Oil is the makeup removing product that I have been using. For many years I have been enjoying using it and I am very glad that it is available in the UK. But, a couple of months ago, while I was at Muji looking for some storage units, I decided to try their Cleansing Oil. (The Japanese name of the product, as you see on the front label, is Mild Oil Cleansing.)
Compared with RMK Cleansing Oil, there are some noticeable differences:

RMK‘s spring 2011 Spring Shimmer makeup collection is a whimsical and colorful collection with both vibrant and wearable shades. The items include those for eyes, cheeks, lips, and nails, and many of them impart a fresh veil of glistening shimmer on the face. Today I am highlighting some of the items in the collection.

Crayon & Powder Eyes is one of the brand’s new products. Each of the double-ended eyeshadows contains one shade in two finishes, a color-rich creamy finish from the crayon and a soft and shimmery finish from the powder. The slim ring of color on the product allows speedy identification of the shade.

Here is an image I came across on 2Channel of what should be Kosé Esprique‘ summer 2011 makeup collection. The line will be re-named “Esprique” (previously Esprique Precious) and there will be an image revamp. I quite like the look of the new eyeshadow palette.
It is interesting that two of the megabrands (Kanebo’s Coffret D’Or and Kosé’s Esprique Precious) are updating their images this year and bringing out black packaging. This means that all the megabrands (the two plus Shiseido’s Maquillage) will have items with black cases.
Also, the new look seems to resemble that of Kosé’s Visée.

“One Stroke Beauty” is the tagline of the line, as the items are designed to save time and they will be quick and easy to use. (The colors on the right side of the eyeshadow palettes are designed to be used separately or mixed together, and the lip colors will impart both color and gloss on the lips.)
The collection will be launched in Japan on March 25th and in the rest of Asia from May. The new brand website (esprique.com) will go live on March 25th.

Botanical Essence No. 1 is Liz Earle‘s first fragrance, as this fresh scent marks a departure from the brand’s root in skincare and bodycare products.
In most cases with fragrances, we are not able to tell which fragrant oils are used in the products from their ingredient lists. (It is usually only “parfum” that is listed as the main fragrance element, along with some minor scenting agents.) But, with Botanical Essence No. 1, besides parfum, numerous plant oils are listed and they give a clear indication to the components of the overall scent.
