Over the years, I have tried quite a few cleansing oils (and variations of them, such as Clinique’s Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm) from both Japanese and western brands. Overall, except Boots’ Botanics Essential Oil Wash Off Cleanser (which was discontinued), I have not come across a cleansing oil from a western brand that is as good as any of the better ones from Japanese brands.
Launched last month, Melting Cleansing Gel from Elemis is yet another variation of an emulsifying cleansing oil (although it is marketed as a morning/evening cleanser, not a makeup remover).

3rd: Helen Mirren (Vivienne Westwood)
How does she do it? She almost always looks great on the red carpet. This regal Vivienne Westwood gown goes well with all the aura that she has. I like the puff sleeves and the color of the dress suits her. I usually like her hair a little longer, but I think the style complements the gown.

Have a look at an image of Sofina Aube Couture‘s upcoming Designing Beauty Compact on Glam Japan. The limited-edition palette, to be released in April, will be available in four variations (pink, red, beige, and rose). Each variation will feature a lip color, a blusher and a two-toned pressed powder. A powder/blusher brush and a lip brush will also be included.
(The pressed powder reminds me of Sofina Primavista’s Face Powder Keep & Reset. One section of the powder (the off-white section) is specifically for setting the foundation and the other is designed for touch-ups.)
