Dior’s fall 2012 makeup collection features a variety of neutral and green tones. With most of Dior’s seasonal collections, the limited-edition star items were the ones that grabbed my attention first. However, with this collection, I prefer the 5 Couleurs palette in 774 Golden Savannah (above), the 5 Couleurs Designer palette in 308 Khaki Design (below), and the 3 Couleurs Glow palette in 651 Nude Glow (below) to the Golden Jungle palettes.
Maquillage’s fall 2012 makeup collection includes True Eye Shadow, whose pink and gold cases are refreshingly different from the predominantly black ones of most of the line’s past eyeshadow palettes. Among the four variations, I like VI762, with a muted lilac, and the beige-toned BR264 (both below).
8th: Jill Stuart
Jill Stuart’s fall 2012 makeup collection comes in two parts: the Patisserie Collection (above, released in Japan on July 13th) and the Romantic Smoke collection (below, released in Japan on August 10th). I like the delicious milky-pink hues in the Patisserie Collection, and I think it is nice to see a hint of blue in Jewel Crystal Eyes in 11 Smoky Azurite (among the mostly pink or neutral palettes from the range).
7th: Majolica Majorca
Majolica Majorca’s fall 2012 makeup collection features two new variations of Jeweling Eyes. The colors range from soft lilac to bold apple red. I particularly like 66 Lavender Sugar, which has lovely pink and purple shades.
The countdown continues in Part 2!
