Sweets Sweets Silky Chiffon Cheeks 03 Peach Chiffon Spring 2013 Makeup 1

In 2017, I reviewed Sweets SweetsSilky Chiffon Cheeks in 01 Cranberry Chiffon in my Stash Debut series. I liked it a lot, and I thought about trying a warmer shade from the range. 03 Peach Chiffon was what I decided to get.

Sweets Sweets Silky Chiffon Cheeks in 03 Peach Chiffon (スウィーツ スウィーツ シルキーシフォンチーク 03 ピーチシフォン/ Sweets Sweets 絲柔戚風頰彩 03 蜜桃戚風, ¥900) was released in Japan in April 2013 (when the Silky Chiffon Cheeks range was launched with four shades (in 01-04)). (05 and 06 were released in Japan in fall 2013, and 07 was released in Japan in spring 2016.) It is a lightly-to-moderately (towards moderately) pigmented pinkish peach, and it has a satiny finish with a hint of multi-hued shimmer. It is very easy to apply and blend, and it has a good staying power.

The shade goes on cooler (more pinkish) than how it looks in the pan, but it is still on the warm side. When applying a warm-toned blusher, I sometimes blend it slightly closer to the center of my face to create a sun-kissed look. This shade works very well for me when worn like this. The medium-to-warm tone (which seems to melt into the skin effortlessly) and the satiny finish (which doesn’t look excessively glowy or shimmery) look very natural on me.

03 Peach Chiffon is less vibrant than 01 Cranberry Chiffon, and it resembles the natural flush on my cheeks more. The two shades create very different looks, but I do like both of them very much. The girlie vibrancy and the berry tone of 01 appeal to me a lot, and I really like the natural freshness and the wearability of 03.

How does the powder feel? Silky? Fine? I have never used Sweets Sweets. The blush shade looks lovely. I’ll check it out in the shop.

Hi Evie,

The powder feels smooth and fine on my cheeks. It is easy to blend and to diffuse, and the satiny finish of the powder never looks dry or powdery. Let me know what you think if you have a chance to have a look! :)

Thank you very much for posting your comment again! :)
