Here is a quick look at Dior‘s spring 2014 makeup collection. The seasonal limited-edition collector’s item is the Trianon Palette. Available in two variations (001 Favorite (below) and 002 Coquette (above)), the palette looks similar to the Dior Chérie Bow palette from spring 2013 but contains a blusher instead of a lip gloss. I like the colors in 002 Coquette.

10th: Lavshuca
Lavshuca’s fall 2013 makeup collection features red cases for the products. This is a new look for the line, but I still prefer the original (pre-fall-2012) packaging. I like some of the variations of Melty Heart Eyes and the gradational look of Melty Trick Cheeks in this collection.

Here is a look at Dior‘s holiday 2013 makeup collection. The seasonal limited-edition collector’s item is the Diorific Powder. Available in two shades (001 Rose d’Or and 002 Perle d’Or), the powder is housed in a glamorous gold case.

Here is a look at some of the highlights of Dior‘s fall 2013 makeup collection. The two limited-edition 5 Couleurs palettes feature rich autumnal colors. I like the slightly unpredictable color combinations. The violet looks very striking against the lighter and the more somber colors in the palette.

10th: Chanel
Chanel stayed with soft neutrals, pinks, and plums in the last few seasons, which is why the brand’s summer 2013 makeup collection, Collection l’Été Papillon de Chanel, is a very pleasant surprise. Blue, turquoise, and green are joined by pink and gold to create a long-awaited colorful collection. I particularly like the limited-edition Les 4 Ombres in 44 Métamorphose (below).

Here is a look at Dior‘s summer 2013 Bird of Paradise makeup collection. It is a vibrantly colorful collection, with deep blue, rich turquoise, and bright pink.

10th: Elégance
(image from www.elegance-cosmetics.com)
The spring 2013 makeup collection from Elégance includes two new variations of Phantom Eyes and one new variation of Fabulous Rouge. All of them feature delicate floral patterns, and I like the soft spring-like colors of Phantom Eyes in 28.

(Mary Quant Eye Opener Selection 2013 Spring in I)
(images from www.cosme.net)
For spring 2013, among many fairly colorful makeup collections from various brands, pink and green seem to be two of the trend colors. There is a range of pink hues, from soft peachy pinks to dramatic fuchsia pinks. On the other hand, green has been a key shade for some time (spring 2012 and fall 2012). The palettes from Mary Quant (above) and YSL (below) include both shades.

Dior‘s spring 2013 Chérie Bow makeup collection has an abundance of feminine pink shades. The seasonal limited-edition star item, the Chérie Bow palette, caught my attention, and I decided to go for 002 Rose Perle, which I preferred to the more gray-toned 001 Rose Poudre.
