I came cross the information on SUQQU’s two New Year Special Kits earlier today and I thought I would feature them in my first post in 2011. Two limited-edition kits will be available and they will be launched in Japan on January 2nd. They are:

Joining the winter sale madness, I stopped by Paul & Joe at Harrods and Fenwick a couple of days ago. (Paul & Joe’s sale items are usually recently discontinued products, soon-to-be discontinued products, and surplus stock, and they are usually (almost always) 50% off their full retail prices. (Have a look at this post for more information on seasonal sales on cosmetics in the UK.))
All the items I got this time are 50% off retail prices. I would not have purchased these items at their full prices (possibly with the exception of the Body Milk), but, with the considerable discounts, I was very happy to bring home and try these products:

Neutrogena‘s new Multi-Defence skincare range claims to combat what the brand calls the five key environmental aggressors that can damage the skin: sun, pollution, cold, heat, and wind. The range currently features 6 products: 3 day moisturisers (Dry & Sensitive SPF 15, Normal to Combination SPF 15, and All Skin Types SPF 25), Night Moisturiser (All Skin Types), Gentle Purifying Scrub and Gentle Purifying Wipes. Today I am highlighting Daily Moisturiser for All Skin Types SPF 25 and Night Moisturiser for All Skin Types.

It has been a long time since the last Japanese Cosmetics Focus post, and today I bring you Watosa.
Watosa is one of the brands that I mentioned in my post If I Could Go to Japan RIGHT NOW. Many years ago, I spotted some Watosa items in a beauty boutique in Hong Kong after seeing them on a few Japanese magazines, and I thought I had to leave the store with something. I decided to go for Lipstick in 210 Metropolis Mauve. It is a deep plum mauve with a satiny finish. The paper packaging features the brand’s signature stripy patterns.

SUQQU‘s holiday 2010 collection features two makeup kits, one base makeup and skincare kit, and a pressed face powder. Today I am featuring 2010 Christmas Makeup Kit A, with a particular focus on the limited-edition Blend Color Eyeshadow in EX-01 Yukiyo.

One of RoC‘s latest ranges, Hydra+ Anti-Fatigue, claims to ease the signs of skin fatigue, including dullness, tightness and uneven skin tones. Three items are currently available (Hydra+ Anti-Fatigue Moisturising Cream Light, Moisturising Cream Rich and Eye Cream), and today I am highlighting Moisturising Cream Light.

Chanel‘s Sublimage range is the brand’s most upscale skincare range. According to Chanel, the planifolia (listed as vanilla planifolia fruit water on the ingredient list) that all the products in this range contain has an intensive regenerating action. Today I am highlighting a new addition to the range, Essential Revitalizing Concentrate, which will be launched in the UK on October 8th.

The new Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum is claimed to soothe skin’s redness, sensitivity and reactivity, and it is recommended by Origins for those with rosacea. Today I am taking a closer look at this product.
The serum has a light liquidy consistency and spreads very easily. This consistency should potentially suit those with combination or oily skin, but I wouldn’t recommend it to those with these two skin types since it contains a lot of (occlusive) plant oils.
