After a long time of indecision, I finally decided to get Lavshuca’s Eye Color Select in BR-1 a couple of months ago. (I try to make sure that I deliberate enough about each makeup purchase, even with items that are not particularly pricey.)
Kanebo Lavshuca released Eye Color Select back in spring 2007, and I have PK-1 and BU-1. I also have PU-2, which was released in fall 2007. At the time, I didn’t have much interest in neutral-toned palettes. But being in my neutral phase for the last few seasons, I couldn’t resist going back to one of my favorite eyeshadow ranges for one more helping.

Integrate Fall 2010 Makeup Collection
I was waiting to see swatches of the new Rainbow Grade Eyes palettes. BE303 (wrongly named as BR303 in the article) is the one I want to try the most, and the colors do still look very good. PK309 also looks nice. On the other hand, the purple in VI708 looks a little too greyish for me.

Lunasol Fall 2010 Makeup Collection
Finally we see the close-ups of the Aurorize Eyes palettes. The shades in the middle of the palettes appear to be intensely shimmery. I still think I will be trying 02 Light Variation. (Some of the colors look a little washed out possibly (at least partly) due to the amount of light-reflective shimmer they have. I noticed this in the September 2010 issue of Biteki as well.)

Kanebo’s Sensai line is one of the lines from the brand that have a more international presence. Today I am featuring two facial masks from the line’s Cellular Performance skincare range, Cellular Performance Hydrachange Mask and Cellular Performance Mask.

In 2006, Kanebo launched the Impress range, and, a year later, the Impress IC sub-range was launched. According to Kanebo, Impress is marketed as a “high-price” range while Impress IC is what the brand calls a “volume-price” (mid-price) range.
On November 19, a new sub-range, Impress Granmula, will be introduced in Japan. Marketed as a “highest-price” range, the launch collection includes three items:
– Lotion (21,000 JPY, approx. 154 GBP, 239 USD)
– Emulsion (31,500 JPY, approx. 230 GBP, 359 USD)
– Cream (126,000 JPY, approx. 922 GBP, 1436 USD)
The Cream is certainly exceptionally pricey, but it still can’t stand comparison with Pola’s B.A The Cream Edo Kiriko, released as a limited edition last October.

I have received Coffret D’Or Beauty C Curve Eyes in 04 Peach Beige and Lavshuca Eye Color Select in BR-1. I will be sharing my thoughts on them later on!
In the meantime, you can see my posts on Lavshuca Eye Color Select in PK-1, BU-1 & PU-2.

My fall 2010 makeup shopping list is getting longer and longer. This is not good!

Kanebo Lunasol will release its fall/winter 2010 base makeup collection in Japan on September 10th. The new items include:
– Water Cream Foundation N (SPF19, PA++, 6 shades)
– Tone-Up Makeup Base (SPF19, PA++)
– Skin Contrast Face Powder (2 shades)
It seems that Water Cream Foundation N will replace Water Cream Foundation and that Skin Contrast Face Powder will replace Micro Finish Powder N. I have been interested in trying Micro Finish Powder N (in 02 Natural Beige) for quite some time (since I wrote this post). I might have to get it soon before it is discontinued……

On the same day, Lunasol will also release new skincare products. They are:
– Fast Skin Adjuster (pre-toner)
– Moist Conditioner (toner)
– Balancing Milk OC/SO (moisturizing milk)
– Wrapping Skin Repair (moisturizing Cream)

Kanebo Coffret D’Or will release its fall/winter 2010 base makeup collection in Japan on September 1st. The collection includes:
– Silky Fit Pact (SPF20, PA++, 7 shades)
– Silky Fit Cream Foundation (SPF21, PA++, 7 shades)
– Melty Essence Fix (primer, SPF24, PA++)
– Creamy Cover Fix (primer, SPF 21, PA++)
– Moist Flat Coat (primer for eye and lip areas)
– Mode Control Face Color (2 variations)
– Beauty C Curve Eyes (2 limited-edition variations)
I wonder what color combinations the two Beauty C Curve Eyes palettes will feature. A purple one, perhaps?
Updated on July 8th, 2010:
Details and photo of the two new (limited-edition) variations:
(06 Smoky Brown)
(07 Plum Wine)
(image/info from www.cosme.net)
Even though, according to this image, the plum in 07 Plum Wine might be a little too dark for me, I am still quite interested in trying the palette.
You can see more images of the collection here.
